  Despite arriving only 1/2 hour before they stop serving food on a Sunday the staff were very nice & attentive & we were not rushed at all. Well done! 5 stars would have been given if there was a cask ales on, but the Doombar had just run out.

  The service for the party was good. My meal was 10 minutes late and when it arrived the chicken was burned. The manager kindly removed my main course from the bill but as it was inedible this wasn't the point: if I hadn't wanted a main course I wouldn't have ordered one. Won't be visiting again.

  Terrible.. order was forgotten. Sat watching several people arrive after us get served with a main whilst we had still not got a starter.. despite drawing this to the attn of our waiter whom I then saw serving behind the bar and never returned and then then manager whom after chasing down never got back to us either. After a very lengthy wait the food was bland and completely tasteless. Wasted an hour and half here.. we left our mains and did not pay... Manager was baffled as to why?!?!

  Service was great very friendly.
  
  Food was poor and far from the promise of the menu. The burger seemed to dehydrate my mouth from all its moisture and the chunky slaw was more like a cheap bag of dry shredded veg from the local shop (which is a shame as I enjoy a good slaw with a burger) thank god I got the refill soft drink with my meal.
  
  After all the Pepsi I drank i had to visit the loos which were very clean and tidy.
  
  Being British I said thank you for my meal, paid and left feeling a little disappointed.
  
  Would I come back? No i would save a few quid and get the same disappointment from The Hungry Horse down the road.

  Group of 9 of us, rare steak came out medium and cold, medium steak came out well done, tough and cold, curry buffet was cold and gammon steak was dry.
  1 of the kids had nachos, it appeared somone tipped a bag of crisps out on a plate no cheese melted on or even warmed up just a pot of cheesy sauce which again, was cold.
  
  Nice waitresses though but wouldnt go again.
  
  I understand 1 meal not being right but all of us had cold food and not to the standard you would expect from a chain like this.
